BROOKLYN SNAPSHOT

Our Borough

According to the Census Bureau, Brooklyn is home to over 400,000 senior citizens, the largest amount of seniors in New York State.

Brooklyn also has the largest amount of Baby Boomers. By the year 2030 New York City will have more seniors than children.  This means that any issue affects our borough in larger numbers.

In view of the higher statistical figures when it comes to foreclosure, health issues, and economic security, we feel the constant need to inform and educate the community on these issues in a visible manner.
